On 10 February 2021 Embassy of India, Copenhagen in collaboration with the renowned Danish culinary entrepreneur and food activist, Claus Meyer celebrated the World Pulses Day. Claus invited Mrs Priti Gupte, wife of Indian Ambassador to Denmark, to his kitchen at Meyers Madhus where she prepared two delicious regional Indian dishes. They discussed the health benefits of pulses, as well as the great variety of Indian cuisine which can inspire Danes to include more vegetarian and vegan dishes made from vegetables, pulses and legumes in their daily diet.
