On Friday 2 June, Ambassador Vanni Xuereb and his spouse Charlo Baldacchino, hosted a dinner to welcome and introduce the new Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Germany to Malta, Tanya Beyer. The distinguished guests included Ambassador Catalina Cullas, Director for Relations with EU Member States at the Auswärtiges Amt.
The evening was marked by engaging discussions on the outstanding bilateral relations between the two countries, and It was an excellent opportunity for the ambassadors to delve into various aspects of collaboration and explore potential joint projects that can further strengthen the ties between the two nations. The conversations touched upon diverse subjects, including trade, cultural exchange, tourism and addressed common challenges that both countries are presently facing.
The dinner also highlighted the commitment of both ambassadors to fostering continued collaboration. Ambassador Xuereb expressed his sincere best wishes to the Ambassador-designate, and extended his warmest congratulations on her new posting, expressing confidence that the two Embassies will continue building upon the existing excellent relationship.
