When lightning cracks, waves rise to the sky, wind blows in wild rhythm and the eight corners of the earth shake, the peaceful dewdrop changes form.

„Rasa – the dewdrop of experience“.
An Indo-Lithuanian dance narrative based on the relevance given to the dewdrop (rasa) due to the power of nature it holds on Raasos (June 24th) in Lithuania.

I am extremely grateful to the exceptional and unique team of musicians, Manickam Yogeswaran (Vocal Carnatic music and ancient Tamil songs), S.v. Giridhara Giridhar (Carnatic percussion), Agotha Zdanaviciute (Lithuanian vocals and Kankles), Adomas Simkunas (flute/Bansuri), the enthusiastic and dedicated dancers Irina Kushelevich,
Neringa Raudytė, Justina Yugala Prema, Gabija Morkunaite and Jolanta Spangeviciute, and a wonderful technical support everywhere. You enabled me to realise my dewdrop of an idea/concept, choreographic vision, and special wishes about music and light design. A successful tour in Lithuania and Lattvia from 7th – 11th November.

Finally the success of the 10th Anniversary of SurSadhana Festival was due to meticulous planning spearheaded by Irina Kushelevich. Wishing her, Anatolijus Lomonosovas and
Kristina Luna, the initiators of this festival dedicated to classical Indian dance and music the very best for many years of success.
