JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between end-users and customer to ensure that IT requirements are gathered properly and fulfilled on time.
- Understand, articulate, and communicate customer requirements to the backend team
- Coordinate with back-end infrastructure support team for timely resolution of the issue
- Create and maintain network/connectivity diagrams for the development center
- Ensure that compliance and SLAs are adhered
- Troubleshoot network connectivity –
- Identify and resolve issues related to LAN connectivity and DNS resolution
- Identify and highlight internet link/bandwidth issues
- Check firewall logs and identify the issue
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting commands (Ping, tracert, telnet etc)
- Familiarity with AD, DHCP, DNS, File server and related troubleshooting
- Identify and troubleshoot corporate wireless network access issues Management of passive cabling
- a. Patching end-user ports b. Maintaining patching records
- Ensuring that compliance requirements are adhered to
- Monitor overall network/systems health
- Patch Management
- McAfee Antivirus and Palo Alto Traps.
- Overall Asset (Hardware + Software) inventory
- OS deployment, software installation and troubleshooting for Windows and Linux
- First level hardware troubleshooting
- Asset (Software + Hardware) inventory
Skills Required:
Hands-on experience with:
- Setting up Cisco network switches (access, distribution, core) as per given specifications
- Cisco ISE – For AAA
- Experience in setting up Cisco routers
- Configuring VLANs
- Configuring standard and extended ACLs
- Troubleshooting network issues in LAN/WAN environment and identifying issues
- Setting up and troubleshooting Cisco wireless network connectivity issues
- Basic troubleshooting of Cisco VOIP and Telepresence connectivity issues
- Cisco Nexus series switches knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions SolarWinds is a plus
Fluent in German (C1/C2 level)
